Meet The Team
John Presland
John left school at 16 and did a 3 year apprenticeship at Brunel College, Ashley Down, Bristol. This culminated in a City & Guilds qualification in Plumbing with completion of the apprenticeship in plumbing and mechanical engineering in 1986. After working for his Dad’s business for about 6 years he set up his own business, JW Presland, which has now been running successfully for over 30 years.
Harry Davey-Presland
In 2011 Harry decided he would like to follow in his family’s footsteps and began working alongside his father John for the JW Presland business. Harry has now been working as a qualified Plumbing and heating engineer for almost 10 years and is Gas Safe certified. Last year, Harry began training his cousin Charlie as his apprentice.
Charlie Benson
After working in electrical repairs, Charlie began working for JW Presland as Harry’s apprentice in 2019. Charlie has picked up the skills at a very quick pace and clearly has a natural ability and flare when it comes to plumbing and heating.
